Natalie joined Principia in 2014 for work experience arranged by the job centre. Natalie was unsure of what career path she wanted to go down. Principia Law were impressed with Natalie and during the work experience offered her a permanent position at Principia in the accounts department.

Natalie developed her knowledge and became an integral part of the accounts team. Principia recognised her hard work and in 2016 Natalie started her qualifications (funded by Principia Law) for the ILFM Diploma, to which she qualified in 2018.

In January 2019 Natalie successfully gained a management role in Principia as the Head of Finance.

In the space of 5 years Natalie has progressed from a work experience candidate to a qualified Legal Cashier and the Head of Finance.

Chris joined Principia Law in January 2020. In a varied pre legal career Chris joined the British army before going to university, obtaining his master’s degree and LPC and embarking on his legal career.

In his relatively short time with the Principia Law Chris has demonstrated a passion for advocacy and a hunger to improve our processes and deliver operational efficiencies.

Chris’s enthusiasm and drive has resulted in him being supported with CILEX funding this year where he plans to complete his Fellowship and cross qualify as a solicitor.

In a short period it’s possible to demonstrate a hunger and commitment to development. Principia Law are proud to support such enthusiasm with our commitment to developing our colleagues.

Clare joined Principia in 2016 as a Pre-litigation paralegal. She had already gained her Law degree and LPC but had never worked in a law firm. Principia Law were aware that Clare’s ultimate goal was to gain a training contract and qualify as a Solicitor.

Through Clare’s hard work she quickly progressed through to the litigation team where she gained valuable litigation experience, before going on to be Pre-Litigation manager and gaining experience of people management.

In July 2018 the training contract application process began and Clare was successful. She started her training contract in September 2018 and will reach her goal of becoming a Solicitor in September 2020.

Principia Law are keen to develop staff who want to progress, to assist them to achieve their career goals.

Lauren joined Principia as an Apprentice straight from college in July 2014. Lauren completed her Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) apprenticeship in 2016 and went on to study the full CILEx qualification with the aim of becoming a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer. Lauren has now gained the CILEx Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice and continues on the course funded by Principia Law.

Whilst studying alongside a full time job at Principia, Lauren has progressed successfully through the business. She started on our Pre-litigation team, progressing to our litigation team in 2015 and through her success and continued training became the litigation manager in September 2018.

In the space of 5 years, Lauren has developed from apprentice to member of the Principia management team.
